Abstract
Described from Erzurum Province in eastern Turkey, the annual plant Bupleurum citrinum
has not been included in modern Turkish floras. Examination of a single type
specimen of this species in the University of Tübingen Herbarium showed that B. citricum
belongs to B. aleppicum, a species widely distributed in Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey.
